Ramadan 2007 (Seerat-e-Mustufa (S.A.W))

In previous topics we touched on the Aqaid (Beliefs) and Sunnahs (teachings & practices) of Holy Prophet (S.A.W). During this blessed month we intend to touch on the topics which will increase the true love of Rasoolullah (S.A.W) in our hearts.

Before the birth of our beloved Prophet (S.A.W), there were many signs of Allah (S.W.T) to announce the arrival of His most beloved creation and leader of all Prophets (A.S), and also to confirm His (S.A.W) high-ranking status. Some of the signs are listed below;

  • Idols fell to the ground.
  • A six-mile long and wide river running from Hamdaan and Qum, Bahreen-Saadah became dry instantly.
  • After the incident of Abraha’s army of elephants, a long period of drought expired, the Arabian Peninsula experienced a season of greenery and happiness.
  • A Noor (bright light) came from the body of Rasoolullah’s (S.A.W) mother, through which the palaces of Basra (in Iraq) could be seen from Mecca (Saudi Arabia).

All these incidents bared glad tidings that the arrival of Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was near. Many more miracles took place during and after the blessed birth of Holy Prophet (S.A.W)

When Prophet (S.A.W) was born, he was already circumcised and his umbilical cord cut. He was born in the position of Sajdah (prostration), while perfume emanated (flow out) from his body.

Whilst in Sajdah position, the first words from the Holy Prophet’s (S.A.W) blessed lips are translated to be “O Allah forgive my Ummah”.

Allah (S.W.T) created our beloved Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) the most excellent of all creation, and did not create an equal to him. It is the Imaan (Faith) of the entire Muslim Ummah that the beauty and perfect proportion of Rasoolullah’s (S.A.W) body parts are matchless and a miracle of his. We will now, in days to come explore this topic in depth.
